2. Start the Pump: Turn on your water pump, let it develop pressure in the mainline up to the zone valve, which is closed.
3. Open the Filter Bypass Valve (if applicable): This provides for air to escape and fills the filters slowly with water.
4. Slowly Open the Main Control Valve: Beginning to pressurize the system gradually.
5. Backwash Filter (if needed): If you see high pressure differential, backwash the filter.
